Dear internaut,

I created this comic journal in 2010, while attending the Drawing The Graphic Novel evening class. Since then I have been posting my drawings, more or less frequently, without any particular plan nor purpose. Initially comics were little more than a hobby, a distraction from my PhD in Neuroscience. However, despite my scientific studies, I eventually ended up working as a cartoonist and illustrator. Since 2014 I use this space mostly to show work in progress, experiments and personal projects. For a more curated selection of my work please visit www.matteofarinella.com.
